Yummy Pasta

In my family we like to call this "Rose sauce pasta" after the rose sauce from Spaghetti Mama's which is just a sauce that mixes the red with the white sauce. This is my personal favorite dish! It has so much flavor and is easy to throw together. My husband wishes it had meat in it, but I love that it is meatless. Adds a variation to all the meals with meat!

This recipe comes from the book The Food Nanny {if you haven't heard of her, you should look up her book at a local book store and buy it! EVERY SINGLE THING I have cooked from her book has been absolutely incredible!}

1 lb uncooked tubular pasta
Homemade Alfredo sauce (you can use jarred, but personally homemade is SOOOO much better and is really easy to make!)
1 jar Prego (or your favorite spaghetti sauce)
3 cups mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, prepare Alfredo Sauce. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in 9x13 pan. Layer half the pasta, half the Alfredo sauce, half the spaghetti sauce, and 1 ½ cups of the cheese. Repeat the layering with the remaining pasta, Alfredo sauce and cheese. Cover with foil and bake about 30 minutes or until it is hot and bubbly.
