M&M Blondies

I found this recipe from the Pioneer Woman's tasty kitchen over a year ago. I made it for my family during the 4th of July and it got rave reviews. I did learn a few things while making this though. Add as many M&M's as you think looks right (I ended up adding more than what the recipe asked for and liked it alot!) Also, pour a few M&M's in the batter but then save some to gently place on top before cooking to make it look pretty and to keep some M&M's whole. Anyway, yummy fun dessert!

1/2 Cups melted butter
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 whole eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup M&Ms (more if you want!)
1/4 cup Skor bits (I kept these out because I'm not a big fan, so add them if you love them!)

IN a large bowl combine butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until just blended.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to brown sugar mixture.
Stir in M&M's and Skor bits.
Spread into a greased 9x9 baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool and cut into bars.
