Chicken Garlic Pizza {knock of from Papa Murpheys}

My husband LOVES Papa Murphey's Chicken Garlic Pizza. We started eating there quite a bit and once I stopped getting good coupons for the pizza we stopped buying it so often. I had become slightly obsessed with trying to replicate some of our favorite restaurant recipes and thought that I should try replicating this one. I started looking up what exactly went on the pizza and then searched for a garlic sauce for the pizza. What I came up with was FABULOUS!! My husband even says it is just as good {if not BETTER} than the original! I felt very proud and now we can have this pizza at a much cheaper cost :) Score for me!! I found the sauce recipe just by google-ing and don't have a reference for it, because I just wrote it down on paper and went for it.

Garlic Sauce:
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Large cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Flour
¾ Cup chicken broth
¾ cup milk
2 tsp. Parsley flakes
1/3 Cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Pizza toppings:
Grilled chicken strips
Tomatoes, diced
Diced green onion
An herb cheese blend

Pizza dough (I use the canned refrigerated kind)

For the sauce: In medium saucepan, melt butter then add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add flour stirring constantly cooking for 1 min. Stir in broth and milk and cook until sauce boils and thickens. Add remaining ingredients and stir until cheese is melted. **This will make enough sauce to cover 2 tubes of refrigerated dough**
Assemble pizza by pressing dough into desired pan (I press mine onto my jelly roll pan) then place the sauce with some cheese and then top with remaining toppings. Cook according to dough directions.
